Approvals

 

Amtron Valve Monitoring Devices are considered to be the best available option for valve monitoring by a number of different authorities including the Metropolitan Fire Brigade and the CSIRO (Active Fire). They also comply to all relevant standards and approvals within Australasia.

Active Fire

Our products have been stringently test by Active Fire, which is a government authority designated to ensuring all fire protection products within Australasia meet the full requirements of all relevant standards and legislation, within the region.

  • Active fire listing approval: Anti-tamper Valve Monitoring Devices (Class A) NB: Amtron is the only company listed for this Class A approval.

  • Active fire listing approval: Position Switches (Valve Monitors) (Class B)

Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB)

The Metropolitan Fire Brigade has issued a set of guidelines regarding what they believe to be necessary in relation to valve monitors.
